MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) - Belarusian agrarians have already cropped more than 5 million tonnes of grain, BelTA learnt from the Agriculture and Food Ministry. As of 6 August, Belarus’ grain harvest exceeded 2.1 million tonnes. Brest Oblast harvested 684,700 tonnes, Gomel Oblast – 480,800 tonnes. MINSK, 26 July (BelTA) – A total of 395 people are now over 100 years old in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Labor and Social Security Ministry. Vitebsk Oblast, Grodno Oblast and Minsk Oblast lead in the number of centenarians in the country, with 65 people over the age of 100 living in each of the areas.
